While other teaching facilities try to get you to swing like a tour pro, our emphasis is more personal. We want to maximize your abilities weather you are a beginner or an advanced golfer.
Mike Harville is from Shreveport, LA. and attended Louisiana Tech University from 1986-1989 with a focus on Exercise Physiology/Kinesiology. Mike started his Professional career with Southern Trace C.C. in Shreveport, then moved to Dallas in 1991 to further his career working as an assistant golf professional at Stonebriar C.C. in Frisco, Texas. These two opportunity’s is where Mike learned the golf swing and how to teach, having studied back-to-back under two club professionals who worked directly under Byron Nelson at The TPC Las Colinas course in Irving, Texas.
Mike has worked with the most modern technology and is a former GolfTEC instructor having worked inside the GolfSMITH Plano location from 2007-2012. He has given over 15 thousand golf lessons (5,000 at GolfTEC). From GolfTEC he served as Operations Manager for GolfSMITH learning the retail side of the industry. A certified GS Master club fitter, club maker and repair specialist- certified with Titliest, Mizuno, Nike, Adams and Callaway.
Today, Mike is the lead Instructor for The First Tee of Greater Dallas where he enjoys mentoring and developing young men and women in life skills through the game of golf. Mike also served 6 years as Varsity Golf Coach at Trinity Christian Academy (Addison, TX. ’03-‘09) where he helped lead the Trojans win back-to-back TAPPS 5-A State Championships in 2008 and 2009. Mike is a 3-time high school coach of the year recipient.

Lee Adger has 39 years experience of playing and teaching golf instruction to all skill levels of adults and juniors. As an amatuer Lee qualified for the Texas State Open in 1991 by winning a playoff with such professionals as the long drive champion Art Sellinger and other players from the Ben Hogan Tour. Further, Lee has played in the Northern and Southern
PGA events since 1998. Lee’s dynamic contribution to golfers is his concept to develop and perfect “the swing”.
He is the author of his book entitled “The Pendulum Swing”.
